The National Joint Powers Alliance recently awarded Networkfleet a contract to provide GPS fleet tracking and engine diagnostic monitoring software to the organization's 35,000 education and government agency members.
Networkfleet offers GPS fleet tracking and engine monitoring so clients can access real-time data such as mileage, speed, fuel consumption and diagnostic trouble codes. The service helps fleet managers automate tasks and reduce workload and costs.
"Networkfleet's wireless fleet management solution is being used to improve operating efficiency and reduce expenses at a variety of government agencies at the local, county, state and federal levels," said Keith Schneider, president and CEO of Networkfleet. "We are happy to be able to offer our products and services to NJPA members, which will save them the time and expense of going through a formal bidding process."
The wireless fleet management company's software contract was awarded under NJPA's administrative software with related goods and services category. The organization solicited bids nationally and chose among competitive bids.
The NJPA offers contracted products, equipment and services to nonprofit members. It has contract purchasing solutions that facilitate the work between contracted suppliers and member agencies.
