The Texas Department of Information Resources recently named Environmental Intelligence to its team of IT vendors to provide healthcare IT solutions to facilities and agencies around the Lone Star State. The IT contracts marks the first time the department has awarded a contract specifically for healthcare IT products and services.
"We are pleased to partner with DIR to provide innovative IT services to the state of Texas," said Frank J. Rosello, CEO and co-founder of Environmental Intelligence. "Our complete suite of health IT solutions focused on driving interoperability is a great match for state and local healthcare agencies and facilities."
Under the contract, EI will be able to offer a full range of solutions to state and local government agencies, public agencies in the state like schools, and other public entities outside the state. The contract was awarded through the DIR's Information and Communication Technology Cooperative Contracts Program.
EI gears its services toward physicians and patients to help clients maximize return on investment for IT by providing managed network services, ensuring HIPAA compliance, and increasing the operational efficiency of clinics and facilities.
